THE PUNISHMENT OF INFIRMARY BOYS
KEATS v. BRACEY-WRIGHT AND ANOTHER
(Before MR. JUSTICE SCRUTTON and a Special Jury)

The hearing of this case was resumed to-day. The plaintiff, Dr. W. J. C. Keats, the superintendent of the Camberwell Infirmary, sued the defendants, Mrs. C. A, R. Bracey-Wright, otherwise known as the Countess de Lormet, and her son, Mr. W. H. Bracey-Wright, to recover damages for an alleged libel contained in an election address and leaflet issued by them in connexion with an election for the Camberwell Board of Guardians.

The alleged libel made allegations concerning the plaintiff in relation to the whipping of boys in the Camberwell Infirmary.
