There was nothing wrong with Court Lees school I was there in 1953 when John Fidoe was headmaster. Other members of staff were Mr Bark deputy head,Mr Roberts,Mr Craine Mr Appleton Mr Ford Mr Johnson Mr Candy Mr Mephan Mr Edwards Mr Emery Mr Coates. These were the only staff members I remember and were reasonable I got the cane a couple of times for running away but that was all.
