The cane I get is 82cm long, 12mm thick, and weighs 70 grams.
The strap is 42cm long, 30mm wide, and 8mm thick and weighs 100 grams.
The paddle (I’ve only had this once) is 44cm long (the handle is 18cm and the bat bit is 26cm), 95mm wide, and weighs 365 grams.
The tawse (only had this once so far as well, but she wants another session) is 54cm long (the split bit is 30cm), 35mm wide, 9mm thick and weighs 130 grams. It has an XH stamp on the handle.
The strap, paddle and tawse are real – obtained from real schools in Australia and the US. The cane is made today and is supposed to be a match for what a lot of schools use or used to use here.
