I am willing to bet that these feelings were common in most girls/young women punished this way.
This female ‘psychology’ has been well understood for a century or more and is the reason why CP of girls/women prisoners has been banned in so many places for so long.
Now consider the places that refused bans, or heaven forbid, re-introduced CP of schoolgirls.
There is only one excuse that is even halfway valid, and even that falls apart under scrutiny.
THE EXCUSE(a political argument): women are treated unequally at every level of society. Why? Because women are assumed to be passive, weak, delicate, and less able to think in the ‘hard’ ways that men do. How do we change this? Challenge the lie that women are different from men because ‘different’ means ‘less’ in reality. Women must become like men, in attitude, inexperience, in moral outlook. Only then can women achieve equality.
