Anyway to conclude, CP of schoolgirls in secondary education in the period stated was massively more commonplace than certain ex-public-school boys here will ever know or admit. Schools that slippered were giving bottom punishments to teen girls. Schools that caned or strapped almost never were, although schools that strapped were punishing vastly greater numbers of teen girls to compensate. Girls from a background that expected them to leave school early with no real formal qualifications were never going to contribute significant numbers of first-hand accounts of their punishments. Why? For the same reason, the voices of such people are incredibly under-represented in all recorded historical records of all cultural events experienced by ordinary people.
