Tom Harper Smith Headmaster, I heard that he got in a spot of bother at some time in the 70’s, is this true?
A ruddy-faced bloke who was already about 50 when I joined in 63.
Seemed very religious, perhaps this explains why he got the job in a church school,

Was not adverse to a spot of corporal punishment particularly in front of school.

Anyone else remember these occasions?
