In the school I attended CP was a daily ritual everywhere on the school, i have witnessed a public caning at an assembly on a stage with 700 people watching someone being caned the pupil having to face us all whilst the cane was being adminstered to his bottom, also witnessed bare bottom slipperings from either the showers or swimming pool, the headmaster had his own office where the cane was applied but form head had an office in an admin block where the slipper was used however the noise from the slippering could be heard very clear by the ladies in admin and even outside in the playground
