‘Mitching’ is slang used in parts of Wales, and also apparently in Ireland, for playing truant. It seems to have an alternative meaning in connection with what is usually called in this estimable Forum ‘lesbianating’. However, we’ll assume the former meaning and if Patricia Olesiak got caned for that it serves her right, IMHO!
