In my case, this was a mistake as all sorts of appalling communications began to arrive. I had to withdraw in order to stem the flow of this material.
I am not challenging anyone’s right to privacy, but in terms of example, I can think of at least one contributor who, like me, claims to have had one experience of formal corporal punishment, and has consistently claimed this over an extended period of time here and on other forums, but as far as I am aware, despite a burning desire for others to do so, has never named the school at which this took place either.
