That was the start of what I think she knew was my infatuation for her and I got the belt from her fairly regularly. There was one occasion when she called me out for the belt and I was not the culprit. I refused and she kept me back after 4pm. We had a long chat about what had happened then I got 4 for refusing the belt in the class. I remember them OK……very sore!
I waited outside the school and walked about a mile or so to the Bus Stance with her…….love was still in the air!
When I sat my prelims for French O-Levels, I scored 44% and she spoke with me after them and offered to make the marks up to a pass so I could sit the O-level.
