I’d say it happened in around 1981-2 as I was about 10 at the time. The teacher asking the girl the question was a female teacher, canÂ’t remember her name at all and the school was in Manchester.
I did ask friends about what had happened but they seemed far less excited about the event than I did, I of course wanted to know every little detail but could get very little out of them, I realise know that this was my specialist interest kicking in, and it was not necessarily shared by any of the other kids I questioned, and I remember feeling that I’d asked too many questions, although didn’t know why that felt wrong.
I did regret having had a cold that weekend which had kept me off that Monday, and honestly this remained one of the biggest regrets of my young life, although possible my interest came directly from not having actually seen this incident and my imagination having to work overdrive to fill the gaps.
