From the Gym to the over the headmaster’s desk was something like a 10-minute walk at best but of course if at the end of that walk, there were 42 inches of senior school cane wanting to make a very lasting and painful impression on your thinly clad backside, that walk could take up to a year!
No matter, how long it took you it would take you twice as long to walk back as you would be hindered by six massive weals,your backside sticking to your Gym shorts and a limp.
