After I had been summoned the Headmaster flexed the cane three times and ordered me to bend over and touch my toes. He walked behind me swishing the cane and lined the cane against my bottom. He tapped my bottom three times with the cane and announced that I would be receiving four strokes. The strokes were administered fairly evenly with a good three to four seconds between each stroke and I jumped up to rub my bottom from the second to the sixth strokes. I was promptly told to bend over and touch my toes and a couple of seconds later the next stroke was administered. I was in a lot of pain when I emerged from the office and I stood up for the entire trip home on the train because I did not think I would be able to sit.
