Fiona was slippered at school in the early 1970s when corporal punishment was very much legal in UK schools, so her teacher, male or otherwise, broke no law.
Fiona suggested in the interview that looking back the teacher may`ve done it for enjoyment, but she can`t be sure of that.
Also, her mother made sure she wore clean underwear each day, suggesting she was aware of the slipperings and evidently didn`t disapprove.
Also with the recent reference saying her father would`ve put her across his knee in her youth, suggesting he certainly wasn`t against CP either, and who knows, may`ve even told her teachers to punish her in this way when she misbehaved.
