Have you noticed how women tend to be more in favour of CP for girls than men do? When your school only had a Headmaster, only boys were caned. I believe you said this was (sometimes) in addition to another punishment – if a girl and boy both played truant, they’d both get detention but the boy would also be caned. It took the arrival of a Headmistress to introduce fair play and make the cane available for girls too. On this forum, the main objectors to CP for girls are men. There aren’t many women here but those of us that are tend to be in favour of CP for girls.
