Not all men necessarily think they have a right to decide, but surely they are entitled to have an opinion, just as you do about what is best for boys and men?
I agree. I’m interested in men’s opinions and I often find they co-incide with my own. What I object to is some men telling women what’s good for them but, at the same time, saying we shouldn’t presume to know what men and boys think – even when other men tell us their thoughts.
I’m in favour of CP for girls where it’s used for boys. Having CP for one sex only is clearly unfair. I deliberately avoid saying which sex I think it’s unfair to but some seem to think I’m claiming it’s unfair to boys and, as a woman, I have no right to make that claim. It seems it’s quite alright for a man to say it’s wrong to cane girls though.
