I am just trying to understand why some of the schools are preferred over others. Is it the quality of the teachers? Do some schools pay their teachers more so they attract the best?
If parents are willing to pay huge amounts to these placement specialists, there must be a reason. Are these schools better funded?
Here in the states schools are funded by local real estate and personal property taxes. So if you live in a high-value area your schools are better funded because of more taxes paid. If you live in a poor area the schools struggle to pay their teachers and other bills. That’s why many parents will be driving 10-year-old cars and living in small houses in very nice neighborhoods just so their kids get a good education.
