She taught History to us and instilled in me a love of the subject because she brought it all to life (or so I thought), but she was fierce on punishment! Usually we girls got slapped on the backs of our legs but one day almost the entire class got strapped because one of the lads had stuck a barbie-type doll’s pink bra on to one of the pictures in the room. No one owned up of course, (but I know who you were!), so she strapped all of us who laughed…almost the entire class as I said.
