Domestic bliss or domestic abuse is in the eye of the beholder. This link has a sexual connotation somewhat on the sultry and seductive side around 1939 and one I had previously posted. The other two seem to be far more innocent. The New York Times is from a hundred years ago and a photo taken not much later from sources unknown. The Globe has become smaller in cyberspace but fewer bizarre stories are found farther from our shores. Is it just a matter of finding them in the archives or not making them readily available? The NYT serve is nothing less than magisterial.
