I often wonder when the teachers find their classroom management skills shown on youtube what is their reaction? Is the camera person punished? How do the miscreants who are punished feel about having their caning unwittingly shown throughout the world? Will the miscreants get a second dose and a lot of questions if seen by their family? What were the offenses? Were they commited together especially those sitting near each other. If the goal is to improve their behavior they are not doing that when their teacher is preoccupied they are not making much an impact? I especially don’t like the videos where the kids are laughing while the other is suffereing and that is wrong in any culture. I certainly would want that if I were being punished nor would I do it to others. Golden rule should apply everywhere.
