Concerned for welfare as we are I approached the house and tried to acsertain if the youngster was “at risk”in anyway.There wasnt much noise.It was the entrance hall to a block of flatlets and no one was about.The suspects were in a flat adjoing the hall.After a few minutes I could hear he sound we all fear.the distinctive slow repetitive slap slap sound!I couldnt believe my ears!Surely she wouldnt dare!The sound was not accurate enough to know whether this was perhaps chopping carrots or what we all fear but I suspectr the latter.Feeling frustrated I had to just let it go as there was nothing I could do.I felt no one would understand If I alerted the vicar or social and that I might become the focus of prurient interest..
