I VIVIDLY REMEMBER GETTING THE CANE BECAUSE I HAD LEFT 4p THATS IN OLD MONEY, IN MT COAT POCKET IN THE CLOAKROOM.I HAD TO LINE UP WITH OTHERS IN THE CORRIDOR FOR THE CANE. IT WAS THE ONLY TIME I GOT THE CANE IN ALL MY YEARS AT CARDY, WHAT A STUPID SCHOOL RULE THAT TURNED OUT TO BE, BUT ONE I ALWAYS REMEMBERED.
