CPs dirty little secret is something rarely talked about and some practitioners say does not exist. The dirty little secret is the fear kids live with on a day to day basis in a school where CP is practiced. It is never mentioned when teachers/admins talk about using CP at school. But they know its there. They create it and perpetuate it throughout the school year. It usually starts within two weeks after school starts in the fall. Somebody will get paddled. Hard. Word gets around. Even if it is carried out in a private room somebody will hear it and the word will go through the grapevine. By the end of the day every kid in the school will know somebody got paddled.
In some schools they still paddle out in the hall so the sound reaches every corner of the school and strikes fear into the heart of every child there.
