Obviously the level of fear varies from school to school. I suspect it is very low at the school where Renee works. I believe she honestly thinks she can fix what is wrong with scp. I think it is beyond repair.
I’m surprised we are so sanguine. Most criminologists of my acquaintance would point immediately to the whole hall of shame in British justice, whether from the McGuires, the Birmingham Six or to Stephan Kiskzo, whilst in the States if I was poor ,Black or Hispanic, I wouldn’t rest happy on remand waiting for meeting with justice in the form of an underpaid overworked public defender.
