I was puzzled by that too. At first sight it appears girls wear, in that limited respect, treated more harshly than boys. I don’t approve of sexism either way so those rules appear just as unfair as exempting girls from CP. There is, however, another interpretation, namely that going to play areas is totally forbidden. Boys are more likely to go to boys’ play areas – hence the harsher punishment for that offence.
