There was some CP at primary school (slapped legs for girls and boys, sometimes slipper for boys) and got it a few times. I don’t think CP would have been a surprise to anyone in those days, it was just how it was although time were changing fast.
The slipper didn’t stop me smoking at the time, we just got more careful and changed venue for a bit I think, I fortunately didn’t progress beyond schoolgirl smoking.
