Did anyone get punished for smoking at school? I received six of the belt, it was agony.
We used to have some terrapin huts and boys would hide round the back for a quick ciggy. A prefect came looking for smokers and I just had time to stuff a lighted cigarette into my blazer pocket. Never has a garment been so aptly named. Lucky for me the prefect thought it was so funny he didnt take it any further but the news spread round the school like wildfire….
I was caught by two teachers smoking behind the Drama Workshop when I was a fifth former at High School.
