If these institutions have a discipline system that is so effective and beloved by parents, staff, and students alike, surely, they ought to share it openly with the world on professional forums, not just share it with one slightly ‘kookie’ site. Indeed as teachers, I would have thought professional responsibility behoves them to share this information with the world of education, not put them in the cupboard with Mrs Robinson’s cupcakes! Because this isn’t just Robinson’s affair……and well, you can’t really hide it from the kids, can you?
