Yet professionally in Australian, no, more precisely, Victorian psychology, sociology, child psychiatry, and educational fields there is a resounding sound of silence, and not a single academic I’ve come across in any of them give any credence for a moment such practices take place …..and unlike me they have nearly all be born and brought up there.
