Amazingly we were sent to the headmaster… (perhaps he thought were indulging in gay activities!) We explained to the head why were locked in a cubicle, and he demanded to see the evidence. He read the damning epistle, and then gave us stern but fatherly advice.
“Boys become men and have many ambitions; they work hard and try to achieve them! Girls become women and have but one ambition… to ensnare a man and live of him for as long as she can!”
Regretfully, I never heeded his advice… and have many times suffered as a result! He also wanted to know the full identity of the authoress of the very suggestive tome. Perhaps realising that our behinds were at risk, he quickly divulged her name.
