“Yet you did not stop to think that by starting a brawl in public you would be damaging the school’s good reputation?”
“No, Sir.”
“Well, I am afraid that is how the public will have seen it and that is certainly how I see it. To have a bus driver stop his bus on a main road because one of my boys is fighting with boys from another school is unheard of. I have checked with the Headmaster of the other two boys and he agrees that such behavior is totally unacceptable and will have harmed both schools’ reputations enormously. He assures me that he will be giving both boys a severe caning this morning. Now what do you think you deserve? What punishment do you think should fit your crime?”
