The Taskforce recently conducted focus groups for women throughout Melbourne to explore the issue of family violence. Based on their research, the Taskforce presented theatre performances highlighting the circumstances under which family violence occurs and pinpointed community attitudes that stop women to seek help in case of family violence. Reeta was not only the integral part of the Taskforce but was also one of the four actors who presented the Taskforces research through the theatre performance. Reeta acted as a violent husband and typical mother who advise her daughter not to leave her husband in spite of the violence.
