Even one whack with the plimsoll would leave the victim’s bottom with a dark red raised welt which would hurt like hell and leave a bruise so three strokes would be excruciating. I was instructed to come to the front of the class and bend over. There was complete silence from the rest of the class who knew how much slipperings hurt and were generally sympathetic when a punishment was carried out.
I made my way forward and bent over with my hands on my knees. I remember the teacher saying that he wanted me further down so my bottom protruded even more so I managed to almost touch my toes so that my shorts were stretched tightly over my backside.
