One of my school masters was a keen civil war re enactment guy, so we all went to watch him once at a recreated skirmish. He was a Roundhead officer……I’ll never forget when at one point the Roundheads looked to be routed but in due course they followed history and won.
He then gave the order release the English prisoners on condition they swore to return home and fight for the King no more, but to kill the Irish , men women and children alike .Nice people to meet in a ‘civil’ war !!!!!!
As to swats or licks, I agree one of the grave difficulties in using any form of cp is standardisation. TWP have tried it , but you cant legislate for the dinosaur who wants to make every swat count as a home run. That’s why the greater centralisation, but what if you get a rogue principal or VP/AP?
