I remember a lot of them mentioning that the only teacher who used any type of corporal punishment on girls was indeed the PE teacher but I think thas was only open-handed slaps across the back of the legs and or bottom. I am reasonably sure that there was no slippering or caning of girls at that school during the time my friends were in their senior year. But then again I could be wrong. I think the caning of girls was not permitted in the UK after about 1970.
