Ive heard in the news recently about parents being punished for their truanting children .What a load of rubbish that is ,it should be the children that are punished
When i was at school in the late sixties i deceided to play truant,unluckily iwas caught by avery observent teacher ,iended up in the headmasters study bent over the back of a chair the head caned my backside six times and ive never felt anything so painfull in my life i,ll admit i cried.But it had,nt finished there the school had informed my parents ,so when i got home i had a painfull session over dads knee with the hairbrush Believe me inever played truant again Perhaps thats the answer tothe problem of truanting children
