I used the word judicious and not judicial. The penultimate posting under US School CP Regulations may be worth revisiting to gain a more positive view of CP in the United States from young (recent college grads) teachers who paddle in the real world today like Renee, Jenny, Wendy, and Michelle. I believe from their website that they consider the right to use corporal punishment worth the fight. I assume they know what they’re talking about from what I have read on their site. I wouldn’t dare to impugn their motives nor would I question their methods unless I walked a mile in their moccasins.
