We went so far that when this case was referred to the Court of Appeal 40 years after the hanging, the Lord Chief Justice completely irrelevantly ordered DNA tests which had no bearing on the case before him or that in 1961 & lo & behold, the police were able to get the verdict they needed after years of contaminating the clothes of victim and Hanratty.
Basically, if you wonder why there’s no respect for authority now, you’ve had your eyes opened. Perhaps we all have.
Whether or not that’s a good thing or has had hideous unseen consequences, don’t ask me, because you will all have your own take on that, if you agree with my analysis.
