I’m in general agreement with you, but rather than his slippering accounts what has gradually made me think that he is probably genuine is his almost painful honesty about the ‘off-topic’ details. If I chose I could write fairly convincingly about administering school CP in a type of school and a period I was familiar with. So could you, so could some other visitors here. However I certainly wouldn’t bring in the many visits to professional subs, the classroom voyeurism or the devious schemes to indulge my CP inclinations and my lack of regret for that indulgence. Putting it bluntly, I wouldn’t want to associate myself with those things, nor I suspect would most people. So, JJ could be pulling an elaborate double bluff to give himself credibility, or he could be real. At present, I’m inclined towards the latter.
