Personally, I don’t think that the answer is obvious. After all, the Western world is happy for male doctors to examine female patients, even though there have been some publicised cases of vulnerable females having been sexually assaulted by male doctors. On the other hand, we might feel that children were particularly vulnerable, and needed particular protection. Then again, indecent assaults by teachers on children are not unknown in jurisdictions where CP is illegal.
But, of course, you might have other views …..
The biggest problem in factoring out what you wanted factoring out is that the assault is premeditated.
The smacked bottom of primary school fame and our respective youths was more in line with the reaction of an angry parent-I’ve been one and done it. Deciding that such and such behaviour warrants 4 strokes or 6 of the cane on the other hand is conspiracy to premeditated assault.
