The head asked for our explanation and who was to blame. All we could say was sorry. In that case the head said you will each receive two strokes of the cane. This was a new experience but I duely obliged. My backside felt very exposed, and the head I felt looked carefully at it to make sure no extras were there. I then heard a noise and a crack across my backside. No pain then much pain. It had landed on the top half of my backside.
