I was also caned on the hands but it was the first three stroke caning I received from the Deputy Headmistress across the bottom that I shall never forget. Although it was over twenty years ago I can still remember the shock to my whole system of that first cane stroke followed by two more which felt as though a red hot branding rod had connected with my behind. Unquestionably, for me this was the worst.
