But that isn’t a carte blanche, and the problem is you can’t tell the good guys from the others, baddies don’t help us by wearing black hats.

Where I differ from the straight abolitionists is I do believe that educational decisions should be taken locally, and so long as there is a moral opt-out available . I think in the south you will get further in local meetings and local decisions than by bringing your own paddle from Washington or the state capital.
