Not as has been recently posted about caning the same number of girls as boys. I am not sure if this was a pathetic bureaucratic attempt at sexual equality, or that it was deliberately interpreted that way by those opposed to corporal punishment to get it stopped altogether. Doctor Dominum is opposed to the idea of equal punishment for equal offences between the sexes, which is not good for discipline when 50% of pupils are exempt.
