There are a great many reports of male school staff chastising female pupils in Great Britain in this estimable Forum, let alone examples elsewhere. A proportion of those reports are by persons of impeccable reputation and, though modesty precludes my including myself in that category, some of them are by me! Do you think we all imagined it? Get a grip man! Before school CP was progressively abolished a considerable number of schoolgirls were corporeally punished by male teaching staff in Britain. Probably nothing like as many as were punished by female staff, and certainly nowhere near as many as boys who were punished by staff of both sexes, but a considerable number nonetheless!
