Two questions
After sentence, the Judge said the case posed two questions:-
“Are the powers of the Ministry of Education and local authorities sufficient to detect and prevent continuous ill-treatment in some schools? If they are sufficient, why was action not taken sooner, and why was one of the victims attending the school at the expense of a local authority?
“Why was a boy on probation required to attend the school for 12 months as a term of his probation?”
