Corporal punishment surveyHi, I don’t know if this forum can help, but I’m trying to put together some realistic data regarding the use of corporal punishment in schools.
Reading this and other internet sources of information it is clearly very hard to distinguish between genuine accounts of CP, peoples fantasies, and role play.
School punishment books are difficult to find, or access. When they are available they only show the information that the establishments wished to disclose. They also only reflect official punishments, generally administered by the Head, consequentially they are not very representative of the general use of CP within schools.
If I study references in the media, the reports are generally only written when the incident was questionably outside the law. In England where I live, and indeed went to school, corporal punishment was legally practiced up until 1986. Therefore there would be no reason for the media to cover anything except the unusual.
Many of us however have witnessed (often first hand) the use of corporal punishment at school. If you have (as indeed have I) I’d be very grateful if you’d reply to this post giving as much accurate information as you feel comfortable with. Any other relevant info: This was one of the most common offences for C.P.to be administered,it was the first time i had forgotten my homework,i only realised my mistake on the way to the physics lesson so i knew what to expect and also it would be three strokes which was the normal penalty.
Mr Brown always used the first desk as you entered the classroom to bend boys over,the person who was sat at that desk had to stand to one side to make way for the unlucky receipient
This lesson a girl was sat at the desk she moved and i bent over,it was a sloping desk which was perfect for presenting a boys bottom for whacking.
Three strokes landed on the seat of my trousers,the metre rule made a slapping sound which echoed around the class and it hurt,their was also a lot of ooh,s from the class when the rule landed

Any other relevant info: The other boy was teasing me and just as it turned into a cussing/shoving match, a teacher showed up and told us to knock it off and come with her. She took us to the principal’s office and told the Principal what we had been doing and then left. The Principal asked each of us what happened and we both said “Nothing, he started it.” she said “Well, you both are getting 3 swats.” She then asked if we were going to make her get a witness. We both said “No Ma’am” The other boy went first, he had empty his back pockets and then grab his ankles. She gave him 3 firm swats and then told me to assume the position. The swats hurt and sitting was uncomfortable for the rest of the day. I was initially resentful because the other kid started it but later, I really got to like that lady. I still remember her name and where she lived.

Any other relevant info: Several of us were being a little disruptive because it was Friday afternoon and we had a substitute teacher. She told me and another kid to write 100 lines. As class was being dismissed, I overheard a girl ask the teacher a question and the substitute told her that she would have to ask the regular teacher because she (the sub) wouldn’t be here Monday.
Since she wouldn’t be here, I decided not to do the lines. Monday afternoon the regular teacher was back and the first thing she did was call me and the other boy up to her desk and ask for our lines. Apparently the sub had left a note for the regular teacher. He had his and was dismissed. I came clean and told her the truth. She got mad and chewed me out for giving the sub a hard time and not completing an assignment. She got out her paddle and told me to come with her to the hallway. She got another teacher to come out of class and told him what I’d done. I was told to grab my ankles and got 3 swats, then we went back to class. She announced that I still owed the 100 lines and that now they would need to be signed by my parents. I got a spanking at home and turned my lines in the next day.

Those faced with that dilemma should read the first two sub-pages of this thread. But be warned, many have admitted to having written, but to the best of my recollection none have admitted to getting a reply. Sadly we may never know on what portion of her anatomy Lucy received her eight strokes of the cane, the posture imposed therefore, and what if any clothing adjustment was entailed.
Personally I suspect a dastardly plot by Manager of the Featured to disrupt my carefully maintained Featured Member tables, complete with trends, who’s in, who’s out and who’s beyond the pale.

You say that your latest posting (31 Mar 2018, 12:06) in the Gallery Thread is Lucy Buckingham. That may be so, and certainly Google Images doesn’t ascribe the picture to some random ‘celebrity’ famous for being famous.
But what of the great unanswered questions which have plagued our many earnest seekers after the truth since 02 Apr 2010, 22:30? Why did Lucy Buckingham decline to say on what portion of her anatomy the alleged 8 strokes of the cane were delivered, what posture she was required to adopt and what, if anything, intervened between her and the cane? She tells us the date, the school, even the name if the headmaster who was claimed to have wielded the cane. She tells us of the string of offences which led to the punishment, of her reaction to it, and that she was the first girl at the school to be caned in its approximately three year history. But of those three vital details concerning what is presented as a fairly unusual punishment, nothing at all!
Now I didn’t respond to Lucy’s invitation to email for details because I was fairly confident that the response would be some highly colourful but totally fictitious account. But in fact as far as I recall nobody who admitted to emailing got a response at all, or at least they said they didn’t. As you have the photograph, do you have the details? If so, I think we should be told!

I am greatly disappointed that after an apparently abortive attempt to post you have not returned to the fray. I am notorious in this estimable Forum for rabbiting on endlessly about my own primary school leg slapping (which was really my only significant experience in receipt of SCP so I don’t have much alternative 
).
Thus another take is always welcome on that devious, discomfiting and definitely distressing disciplinary device much favoured by strict lady primary school teachers as an exemplary embarrassing in front of the class punishment in the days when girls wore skirts or dresses and boys wore short trousers, facilitating access to targeted tender thighs. So if you’re still out there why not have another go at posting your experience?
