“Dad,” Drew interrupted. “I’m not going to stand for a lecture on how to raise my kids. Nancy and I are doing the best we can, and I think we’re doing a damn good job.”
“No complaints about that, son. The way you grill the meat, on the other hand…”
They had just sat down to eat when all hell broke loose. It began with the sounding of a car horn. Everyone looked over to see two figures fast approaching.
“What are THEY doing here?” Nancy asked, her cheeks crimson with frustration.
“Hello Mother,” said Jessica. “We were supposed to be with friends, but they are redecorating. Thus, here we are.”
“How…nice,” Nancy remarked through clenched teeth.
“There’s something different about your sisters,” said Ricard. “Something that I can’t quite place my finger on
