“It was my idea that you get someone to pretend to be your PA.” I reminded her.
“I just wasn’t expecting it’d be me.”
“I’m glad it was.” Mum grinned.
“Really?” I said as I picked up my glass.
“Didn’t we just make a complete mess of that meeting?”

it feels like we’re having a mother and daughter bonding experience.”
