Number 3 was 1972 in Lewisham Sainsburys-presume I’d interrupted clothes & record shopping to buy fags or a coke. This time there were two daughters, aged about 14 & 12 & Mum looked one of those meek, quiet, downtrodden ladies you feel sorry for. Youngest daughter was mucking about too much whilst seated waiting for Mum and knocked a carrier out of Mum’s grasp-nothing broken, though. She made the double error of not pitching in to help pick stuff up-elder daughter did so at once, and laughing instead of saying sorry, again something the eldest had more sense about.
I lingered in the doorway, on some sixth sense. And, as younger daughter sprang off chair on completion of others’ salvage work, Mum flew at her, dragged madam over her knee on a chair, removed miniskirt & knickers of victim in a trice & dealt out a dozen spanks, before a brief pause & another dozen. Most remarkably, Mother then calmy redressed daughter, and very quietly said-Just DON’T, ever again-I’ll bet madam never did either-she was in a state of high distress and pain.
